In less than 24 hours, the Play Live Challenge 2016 will take place at the Liberty Science Center in New York City. Over the past year, Play Magnus users have accumulated millions of points towards winning an opportunity to meet Magnus Carlsen, the current World Chess Champion and highest rated chess player of all time.Now, after months of preparation, the Play Live Challenge is set to begin. 11 lucky contestants are ready to challenge Magnus simultaneously with 30 minutes on the clock each. This will be quite the test of skill for Magnus Carlsen as he will be forced to battle against the clock with only 30 minutes in total to combat his 11 opponents.
The 11 lucky contestants represent 7 countries and have flown from all over the world to New York for this paramount match. Look for the following contestants on the broadcast tomorrow!
