We've released two apps this year, Magnus Trainer for Android and Magnus' Kingdom of Chess for iOS and Android. With that we have a complete set of three apps on both platforms for players of all ages!

Play Magnus

1
That's more than 3 times the size of the population of Norway!

Magnus Age 9 was played the most, with 3,108,121 completed games!

A special mention to our most committed player, who completed a mind-boggling 34,882 games. Amazing!

2
Magnus just turned 28 a few weeks ago, and we released the new age in Play Magnus at the same time. Already, close to 3,000 players have beaten the new age. Seems like Magnus has to look out for new contenders for that World Champion title in two years!

With an average of around 500 words per lesson, you've read close to 3,5 billion words helping you increase your chess skills.

The most popular lessons were Checkmate! and Kiss of Death. Whether you're playing against Magnus or challenging your friends, enemies or family this holiday, they should all fear your new chess skills!

4
That's a lot of time spent on games helping improve your skills instead of scrolling your social media feeds. High five!

6-2
Cabin Fever was the most popular game, and was played 3,356,226 times.

Blunder of the year

During the World Chess Championship preparations, we published a video and accidentally revealed one of Magnus' First Seconds. Well, with the opponent's team accidentally revealing their opening preparations, hopefully nobody noticed...

A huge thank you to each and every one of you, whether you are using Magnus Trainer, Play Magnus or follow our journey on social media! We look forward to entering yet another great year with you by our side!

Cheers and happy holidays!
